On Friday, October 18th, the Prince George Chamber of Commerce hosted the 34th annual Business Excellence Awards at the Prince George Playhouse. It was an evening of delicious food, drinks, and an opportunity to highlight those that go above and beyond in the local business community. At this annual event we were able to celebrate twelve award categories and it was attended by just under 300 guests. This year was record breaking as the number of nominations received earlier this year reached nearly 350. Our judging panel of business experts had a difficult time narrowing it down to just 48.
We continued the “Tony Award Style” show for the third year with amazing performances by the team at Judy Russell Presents including numbers from Legally Blonde the Musical and Moulin Rouge. Our emcees for the evening were the always entertaining Kyle Sampson and Catherine Hansen.
The fun continued at Northland Nissan where the official After Party took place. Guests celebrated the successes of the winners and the many nominees. This couldn’t have been made possible without the help from our amazing community partners. We thank all of those that came to the events this year, and we look forward to celebrating the best in business in Prince George in 2020!
