Prince George, July 07, 2017 – The Board of the Prince George Chamber of Commerce has appointed Erika Ewacha as CEO and will assume the role of CEO effective July 10, 2017.
Corey Naphtali, President of the Chamber of Commerce, is pleased to announce that Erika has accepted the position. “While there are some very large shoes to fill, I am confident that Erika will excel in the role and that while the selection process was onerous, I feel the Board has been able to add value to the Membership by extending the offer”.
Erika Ewacha has a non-profit background working with Canadian Red Cross, Parkinson Society BC, Canadian Cancer Society, and experience in Customer service and Sales. Erika worked for 3 years at the Terrace & District Chamber of Commerce from 2014-2017, first as the Executive Assistant and then as Executive Director.
Erika is excited to be with the Prince George Chamber and working with the business community again. In her spare time, she enjoys camping and exploring Northern BC with her husband and 2 dogs, as well as cheering on the Winnipeg Blue Bomber football team.
Corey Naphtali and the Chamber Board are confident that the management skills and experience Erika brings to the position will help to provide a strong foundation for growth opportunities to be realized within the Chamber of Commerce. Erika adds that “Through the Chamber network she became passionate about both Northern BC and the success of the business community in the North.”
