The Prince George Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the return of the #TrueNorth Business Development Forum in January 2021, once again presented by our friends at LNG Canada.

#TrueNorth has kicked off Resource Week in Prince George for numerous years, with a focus on providing tools that build a more resilient and prosperous Northern BC. Given the challenges experienced, this coming event may be the most important to date.

Date: Monday January 25, 2021

Time: 08:00 – 12:30 (PST)

Location: Virtual Platform

“Given the challenges experienced by business in 2020 and likely the early months of 2021, we wanted to focus on the leadership challenges and how we, collectively, move forward towards a strong economic recovery in BC,” said Todd Corrigall, CEO, Prince George Chamber of Commerce. “Northern BC is home to a diverse and evolving economy, one that has been developed and fostered by strong leaders – both at the individual and corporate levels.”

While the program continues to evolve, we are excited to announce the preliminary keynote presentation from David Irvine and Ally Stone. David is a #TrueNorth alum who will focus, on ‘Leading Through Disruption’, a new program built around the challenges of the pandemic, recovery, team engagement and personal growth.

In addition to the above, a panel discussion featuring exceptional female leaders from diverse backgrounds will be moderated by local Prince George entrepreneur and mentor, Shauna Harper.

Confirmed Speakers:

  • David Irvine, Leadership Expert
  • Ally Stone, Leadership Expert – Partner, Original Joe’s
  • Susannah Pierce, Director of External Relations, LNG Canada (Lunch Keynote)

Presenters are being added regularly, with unique panels, Q&A sessions and tremendous learning opportunities.
