The Exchange: A new way to see how Prince George connects
The Exchange is an interactive platform that shows how organizations in Prince George are connected and where collaboration is happening across the community.
Hosted by the Prince George Chamber of Commerce, The Exchange creates a visual map of relationships between organizations, making it easier to understand who is connected, how organizations work together, and where there are opportunities to build stronger partnerships. It provides a shared foundation for more coordinated, data-informed economic development.
Rather than acting as a directory, The Exchange offers a dynamic view of the community network and how it functions in practice.
At this stage, The Exchange includes community organizations. This was an intentional starting point, as organizations play a key role in delivering programs, connecting people, and supporting collaboration across sectors. Over time, the platform will expand to include businesses, creating a more complete picture of how Prince George connects, collaborates, and grows.
Do you know your role in PG’s network?
Every business and organization contributes in different ways—bringing people together, sharing information, and helping ideas and opportunities move across the community.
The Exchange helps you understand how you connect within the network—and who else is involved—so you can build stronger partnerships, uncover new opportunities, and increase your impact.
You can also explore organization profiles to see how others contribute across the community—and how those connections can support new opportunities for collaboration.

Why The Exchange Matters
Prince George has many organizations, initiatives, and people doing important work. What has often been missing is a clear way to see how those efforts connect.
The Exchange was created to address that gap by making relationships visible and easier to understand, creating a stronger foundation for coordination, partnership, and more informed decision-making.
This work is also closely connected to economic development and resilience. By making relationships visible and easier to navigate, The Exchange helps organizations and businesses connect, align efforts, and access opportunities more effectively. This reduces duplication, strengthens partnerships, and supports more strategic economic diversification in response to sector changes—contributing to a more resilient local economy.
Early engagement has already strengthened the local network, with increased participation and growing interest from businesses and organizations looking to collaborate more intentionally.
The final report provides an overview of the project, how The Exchange was developed, what was learned through the network analysis, and where the greatest opportunities exist moving forward.
What’s Next
The Exchange is designed to grow over time.
While the current platform focuses on organizations, future phases will expand participation to include businesses and others who want to be part of the network. There will also be ongoing opportunities for new participants to complete the survey and join.
As more participants are added, The Exchange will provide an increasingly complete and valuable picture of how Prince George’s community and economic ecosystem is connected.
