The Prince George Chamber of Commerce welcomes Neil Godbout as Executive Director.

The Prince George Chamber of Commerce, the city’s leading business association, is thrilled to announce the appointment of Neil Godbout as its new Executive Director, starting Monday, March 18.

His one-year term will cover Chamber CEO Quynlan Young’s maternity leave.

"The Prince George Chamber of Commerce recognizes that our new Executive Director, Neil Godbout, comes to us with a wealth of communication experience and knowledge of our community. It is precisely this level of engagement and his ability to challenge the status quo that we believe will be invaluable to our Chamber, especially in a time when businesses face unprecedented challenges. The Chamber has made this decision with a forward-looking perspective, and we are confident that Neil's skills in communication and advocacy will foster an environment of growth and strength for our members." - Cathy Mackay, the Prince George Chamber of Commerce board chair said.

“I’m excited about this new direction in my professional career and thankful to the Chamber for the opportunity,” Godbout said. “I’ll be focused on engagement and advocacy for the Chamber and its members, especially around community safety, as well as working with the staff and board on the upcoming two-day True North Business Development Forum in June.”
