Prince George Chamber of Commerce names 2024 Business Excellence Awards winners

Kyndra Farrell, the owner-operator of two Prince George businesses – Worth A Shot Mobile Bar and Champagne Events - was named the 2025 Business Person of the Year at the Prince George Chamber of Commerce’s 40th Annual Business Excellence Awards on Saturday.
MDN Trinity Financial Services received the 2025 Business of the Year Award while the BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Colour) Business of the Year Award went to the House of Ancestors.

Excellence in Not for Profit/Community Service - Spirit of the North Healthcare Foundation
Lifetime Achievement Award - The Prince George Citizen
To celebrate the 40th Annual Business Excellence Awards, The Honourable Jody Wilson-Raybould, the former Minister of Justice and Attorney General of Canada, gave the keynote address. The bestselling author of True Reconciliation: How to Be a Force for Change, spoke to the audience of more than 400 about the ongoing efforts business and communities have made engaging with Canada’s Indigenous Peoples to build a prosperous future together.
