Recurring Events
The Prince George Chamber of Commerce hosts a number of annual events throughout the year that give our members a chance to network with other professionals in the community as well as gain important knowledge about the business climate in Prince George.
Our annual general meetings are a chance for our members to learn more about what the Chamber has accomplished over the past year, while providing information about what is planned for the year ahead and giving our members the opportunity to vote on important Chamber matters. The AGM is also an opportunity for the membership to hear from Board of Directors candidates and elect who they see fit to represent the business community. The AGM typically takes place in the spring of each year and is open to all of our members.

Business Showcase Collaborations (Business After 5's) take place a few times a year and are a great way to get to know the local business community in a casual setting. These events are hosted at a member business and typically include food, drinks, prizes, and excellent networking opportunities. Business Showcase Collaborations are always free for our members to attend and are open to non-members too! If you are a member that is interested in hosting a Business Showcase Collaboration, contact us today!

The Business Excellence Awards are the biggest event the Chamber hosts each year. The awards are an opportunity to recognize the hardworking businesses, entrepreneurs, and non-profits in our community. The nomination period takes place each summer and is open to all businesses in Prince George, not just our membership.
The 40th Annual Business Excellence Awards were held on November 1, 2025, at the Prince George Conference and Civic Centre, drawing over 400 attendees for an evening honoring local businesses and entrepreneurs, featuring a keynote address from the Honourable Jody Wilson-Raybould.
The 41st Annual Business Excellence Awards are set for October 3, 2026, featuring Amazing Race Canada Season 10 co-winner Taylor McPherson. Nominations are open across 11 categories until July 15, with finalists and the Lifetime Achievement Award recipient to be announced August 28 at a lunchtime event at the Civic Centre.
Our Leadership Breakfast Series is a great way to hear directly from local leaders before the workday begins. Each breakfast features a delicious meal, a presentation from a key voice in our community—whether from government, law enforcement, or local organizations—and the chance to network with others at your table. These events are typically held on a quarterly basis.
