Kristine Newell
President
A long time resident of Prince George, Kristine Newell is a realtor with a locally owned independent brokerage, Team Powerhouse Realty, member of the BC Northern Real Estate board of directors, in addition to sitting on the Membership Committee and Business Excellence Awards Nominating Committee for the Chamber. She also owns a construction company with her husband. Recently elected to the Board, Kristine hopes to impact real change in the business community and the city as a whole through promoting our shared business interests, advocating for real change to tackle our unique challenges and empowering the business community to take full advantage of the opportunities available here in the north. When she isn’t selling real estate or attending committee meetings you’ll find her in the woods or at the lake enjoying the amazing natural landscape surrounding us with her husband, kids and dogs.

Cathy Mackay
Past President
Cathy Mackay is the Chief Operating Officer of EDI Environmental Dynamics Inc. She is a professional biologist, an agrologist, and holds a Master of Science degree from UNBC. EDI is an environmental consulting business that began in Prince George in 1994 and has grown to 120 staff in BC, Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Yukon. We recognize with gratitude that EDI’s founding office is located on the traditional territory of Lheidli T'enneh. Cathy leads a team committed to the practical application of aquatic and terrestrial science to help their clients while maintaining the integrity of the environment that we all share.
Cathy is originally from Taylor, BC, and has called Prince George home since 2003 after living in Williams Lake and Burnaby. She is a passionate advocate for business in Prince George and northern BC. Away from work, Cathy’s interests are cycling, knitting, fishing, and playing music. She has served as a director on the Prince George Chamber of Commerce since 2016.

Nik Tusek
Vice President of Finance
Nik Tusek is a Partner at KPMG. He went to the University of Northern British Columbia where he obtained his degree and began working in the Lower Mainland. In 2019, Nik and his family decided to move back to Prince George which is when he joined KPMG. Nik has served as director and treasurer of a number of other boards in the past including the Deaf Childrens Society of Burnaby and Crisis Centre of Northern BC.

Tanner Moulton
Vice President
Tanner Moulton is a Community Relations Advisor for TC Energy and the Coastal GasLink project. He is a graduate from UNBC where he graduated with a bachelor’s degree and received a Double Major in International Business and Finance. He has lived in Prince George since 2013, and now calls Prince George home with his wife and two children. Tanner has worked at Coastal GasLink/TC Energy since 2018 and has been very involved in the community of Prince George. Dating back to his time at university where he was a co-captain on the UNBC JDC West team and President of the Commerce Student Society. To now where he serves as a director on the board of the UNBC Alumni Council and is currently a Build Strong Agent at his work. His direct involvement in the Build Strong program has resulted in over $1 million going back to local organizations in communities across Northern BC through employee giving initiatives that he has been instrumental in organizing and promoting across the project. Tanner looks forward to furthering his support for the Prince George community and connecting with like-minded individuals to ensure local businesses are supported and advocated for.

Cindi Pohl
Vice President
Cindi Pohl has been in the Waste and Recycling Industry for the past 21 years. In 2018, she decided to leave her corporate sales position with Waste Management and purchase 2 businesses out of Quesnel named Go-fer Disposal and Cariboo Metal Recycling with her business partner. Since then, they have founded BBRD Blue Bin Recycling and Disposal which services the Prince George, Quesnel and Bulkley Valley area.
As CEO, Cindi works in all aspects of the business, concentrating mostly on administration, finance, human resources, and business development. Her past work experience includes more than 30 years of sales, customer service, training and management.
Cindi has been a director on the BC Chamber Board since 2017 concluding in June 2024. She served on the Prince George Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors from 2010 to 2018. Her roles included director, Vice President, President and Past President and she chaired 2 committees. Cindi also sits the PG Air Improvement Roundtable representing the Prince George Chamber. She also chaired the PG Montessori Education Society from 2012 to 2021.

Roberta Stewart
Director
Roberta has been a lawyer in Prince George since 2004 and became an Associate Counsel at Fulton & Company LLP on October 1, 2025. While Fulton’s main office is in Kamloops, Roberta leads the new Prince George branch office with a view to expansion and growth.
Roberta’s practice supports business owners, property owners, and families with corporate and real estate matters that often carry significant financial and personal weight. From buying or selling a business to succession planning or protecting family assets, Roberta helps clients move forward with clarity and confidence. A strong understanding of how legal and tax considerations intersect allows her to collaborate seamlessly with accountants and other advisors.
Outside of work, Roberta is deeply engaged in the Prince George community, serving as a Director with the Northern BC Women in Business Association and the Prince George Community Foundation, and previously as a Governor of the Real Estate Foundation of British Columbia.

Pardeep Singh Hans
Director
Pardeep Singh Hans holds a Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) degree from India. He arrived in Canada in 2012 as an international student at the College of New Caledonia (CNC), where he completed a Post Diploma in Information Technology (PDIT). In 2017, he obtained permanent residency and subsequently worked with FedEx until 2022. In 2023, he joined PICS as a Career and Financial Counsellor. In this role, he supports newcomers with professional qualifications and experience from their home countries, such as nurses, doctors, teachers, and pharmacists, in successfully transitioning into their fields in Canada.

Alison Fuhr
Director
Alison Fuhr serves as the Chief Financial Officer and Human Resources Director at EDI Environmental Dynamics Inc. (EDI), an employee-owned organization established in Prince George in 1994. Joining EDI in 2012 following the completion of her Master of Business Administration and Bachelor of Commerce degrees from the University of Northern British Columbia, Alison demonstrated a commitment to regional economic development. She is a member of the Chartered Professionals in Human Resources (CPHR) and the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD).
During her tenure, EDI has experienced significant expansion throughout Western Canada. Her professional approach is characterized by integrity and a proactive problem-solving methodology. In her dual role as CFO and HR Director, Alison oversees EDI's financial strategy, corporate risk management, human resources, and accounting functions. She remains dedicated to supporting local businesses and advocating for policies that foster a robust economic climate. She is adept at enhancing organizational value through strategic financial planning, in-depth analysis, and the implementation of effective HR systems. Her collaborative experience with EDI's Board of Directors on strategic and financial planning led to her nomination and subsequent two-year service on the board of directors of an Indigenous Limited Partnership.
Alison grew up in Smithers BC, and after attending the University of Victoria, she decided she wanted to move back to the North. In her free time, Alison enjoys running, skiing, hiking and gardening.

Zandra Ross
Director
Zandra Ross is a renowned coach, facilitator and business strategist, dedicating her expertise to empowering individuals and enterprises across the Northern BC region. She is the visionary behind Zandra Ross Coaching and Consulting (2011-present) and Zandra Ross Lifestyle Studio (2017-2019) with a history of transforming personal and professional lives. She has worked with over 60 First Nations, non-profit organizations and companies providing coaching, strategic planning, team building, workshops/training, motivational speaking, chairing/emceeing meetings and fitness and healthy eating coaching.For over 30 years, Zandra has been a proud resident of the Lheidli T'enneh territory, actively contributing to the community's growth and prosperity. From the Williams Lake First Nation, she integrates a rich cultural perspective into her work, enriching the diverse tapestry of Northern BC. Zandra's dedication is reflected in her achievements, including being honored twice with a Prince George Chamber of Commerce Business Excellence Award, which echoes her impact on local and regional business communities. A firm believer in community service, Zandra has contributed her skills to various non-profit organizations, strengthening the social fabric of her adopted home such as the YMCA, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Hospice House and the Prince George Native Friendship Centre. Her vision for the Chamber of Commerce is to foster a collaborative environment where businesses thrive on innovation, inclusivity, and shared success.

Clayton Pountney
Director
Clay has been a long term resident of Lheidli T'enneh where he grew up. Clay has worked in many roles within multiple industries such as forestry, mining and oil and gas and has had multiple terms working within First Nations leadership in his community. He is currently a Council member of the Lheidli T'enneh First Nation.

Ronald Camp
Director
Ron Camp has worked with the PGCoC Board of Directors since 2022, first as a member of the Membership Committee, and then as Chair of the Advocacy Committee.
Ron is currently the Dean of Business and Economics at the University of Northern British Columbia and a Professor of Organizational Behaviour. He came to UNBC from the University of Regina, where he was an Associate Professor in the School of Business, was the Co-Academic Director of the ICD-Rotman Directors Education Program in Saskatchewan, and the Associate Dean and Director of the Ken Levene Graduate School of Management. Ron was the founding Director of Training for the Canadian Institute of Public Safety Research and Treatment (CIPSRT) and is a member of a network of Academics, Researchers, and Clinicians studying organizational factors that contribute to Post-traumatic Stress Injuries (PTSI) in public safety personnel (police, fire, ambulance, etc.)
In addition to his academic experience, Ron has been a business consultant, working with organizations as varied as Mosaic Potash, the Oregon Department of Transportation, and Handai Biken Microbial Research Institute in Japan. He worked in mental health following university, and was operations manager for a family business, Juliann Mountain Cider Co., in San Diego

Erin Pearson
Director
Erin brings nearly two decades of experience in tourism and hospitality, having worked across British Columbia in a range of exclusive resort, restaurant, and hotel environments. Her career has been shaped by a commitment to delivering exceptional service and creating memorable guest experiences.
Now based back in her hometown of Prince George, Erin serves as Director of Services at Northern Lights Estate Winery. In this role, she leads operations across the Wine Shop, RiverHouse Restaurant, and Events departments, known for her warm, engaging, and professional approach.
A passionate advocate for tourism and small business, Erin takes pride in showcasing the rich diversity and abundance of Northern British Columbia, helping to elevate the region’s profile both locally and beyond.

Alexandra Goseltine
Director
Alex is the Executive Officer of the BC Northern Real Estate Board, where she leads all aspects of the Board’s operations including strategic planning, governance support, financial oversight, and member services. A lawyer by training with 19 years’ experience as a general litigator, Alex brings expertise in risk management, policy development, and stakeholder engagement. Alex recently completed over three years on the Board of Integris Credit Union, including 18 months as Chair. She holds a Graduate Diploma in Business Administration and the Canadian Risk Manager designation. She is currently volunteering as a member of the Chamber’s Advocacy Committee.

Trevor McPherson
Director
A self-motivated Supply Chain professional, with experiences in closing deals and developing a loyal client base through strong sales ability, product knowledge and attentive vendor building relations. A team player, who communicates well and develops excellent rapport with both external clients and internal business colleagues. Utilizing well-developed problem-solving abilities, stakeholder challenges are resolved in a quick and effective manner.

Akshay Katnaur
Director
I began my journey from India to Canada with a vision to build a meaningful career rooted in connection and community. I started my banking journey in 2021 and joined RBC in 2022 as a Relationship Manager, Business Markets, serving local businesses and business owners in Williams Lake, Quesnel, 100 Mile and later Prince George. Through dedication and results-driven approach, I advanced to the role of Commercial Relationship Manager in August 2025, serving Prince George. .
Beyond professional achievements, I am deeply committed to mentorship and leadership development. I actively support the next generation through involvement as a Presentation Mentor for the JDC West Finance Team, a Mentor with RBC’s BC Women’s Employee Resource Group, and as RBC Next Gen Cabinet Member, a employee resource group focused on career upskilling and development within RBC. My passion for growth, learning, and empowerment reflects in my core values of hard work and perseverance—values that earned me the Rookie of the Year (2023) award in Business Markets.
I hold an MBA from Thompson Rivers University in Kamloops and continue to give back to the local community, fostering collaboration, inclusion, and the leaders of tomorrow.
