What is The Exchange?

The Exchange is a new initiative designed to map and strengthen the relationships that make our community thrive. When Support PG launched in 2020, it kept local businesses visible and connected during a challenging time. It worked. But the message from the community was clear: we need more than short-term visibility, we need lasting connectivity. That’s what The Exchange delivers.

Here’s how it works:

• The Exchange is powered by innovative technology that transforms community data into a dynamic, interactive map—revealing how organizations connect, collaborate, and create opportunity across Prince George.
• The process begins with the Exchange survey, where local organizations share information about who they work with and how they collaborate across the community. 
• Using social network analysis, this data is then turned into insight—showing who’s collaborating, where connections are strongest, and where new opportunities are waiting to be explored.
• The result is an interactive online platform that’s intuitive, visual, and easy to navigate. Businesses and organizations can explore community connections, identify potential partners, and see how their strategic goals fit into the bigger picture.
